OUCH is a idea-driven graphic design studio making identification and communication concepts like logotypes, visual identities and campaigns.
We work in close collaboration with artists, directors, leaders and founders of companies, projects, books, films, magazines, festivals, events, competitions, food, startups etc.
OUCH is run by Jörgen Nordqvist, Design Director with a Master of Fine Arts in Design from HDK. His design has, for example, been awarded with Best Book Design Sweden (Svensk Bokkonst) several times and in the graphic design- and illustration competition Kolla. Jörgen has exhibited in the USA, Germany, Poland, Russia, Norway and Sweden and is represented at the National Museum of Sweden, Röhsska Museum, Gothenburg and Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg. He has released, as part of Göteborg Film Festival (Filmkonst), his own book Biografi, containing cinema tickets collected for 20 years. The book was awarded Best Book Design Sweden and a silver diploma in Kolla. 2008–2009 he received a Working grant from The Swedish Arts Grants Commitee, intended to provide professional artists with the opportunity to concentrate on and develop their artistic work. Between 2014—2016 he was a juror in Best Book Design Sweden. Since 2012 elected member of Stockholm Typographical Guild.
